Fortville Action, Inc. sponsors and organizes many events and projects in the community. The largest and most prominent of our events is the Cruise On Main In September. Other events include Free Concerts On Main St., Free Movies In Landmark Park, Broadway Beautification, Wednesday Night Cruise-Ins, flowering baskets and planters on Main Street, involvement with the Fortville comprehensive plan, volunteer events and service initiatives.
Fortville Action, Inc. also supports other events and organizations throughout the community like Mt Vernon Optimists’ Ball Day, Fortville Community Block Party, the 125th Anniversary of the Fortville Fire Department, 4th of July Fireworks, Shakin’ Shamrocks 4-H club, just to name a few!

Fortville Farmers’ Market sponsored by the Fortville/McCordsville Chamber of Commerce; First Fridays with All The Retail Stores; the Saint Thomas Festival; Bastille Day sponsored and organized by Six Feet Up; Septabulous Saturday hosted by the Fortville Nazarene Church; productions by Ten West Center for the Arts and many, many more!
FAI has supported and welcomed the cruisers for 3 years and are pleased to see our towns businesses benefiting from these Wednesday evening gatherings from early spring to late fall. This event brings new people into Fortville as well as being a great way to have friends and neighbors gather and visit on Main Street.
